Sebaceous - sebum secreting glands that open into hair follicles.
Apocrine - sweat glandsthat open into hair follicles. Their secretion produces perspiration “odor” when bacteria interacts with it.

muscle attached to the lower portion of the hair shaft and the skin. Involuntary muscle that when contracted causes the attached here to raise.
Melanocytes
cells located in the basal cell area, immediately beneath the epidermis that produce melanin.
Melanin
a color producing pigment for skin, hair and eyes. Sunlight stimulates production of melanin which protects against UV rays
